The first few years were frustrating. I definitely didn’t fall in love with the game instantly, I was so much further behind all of my friends who have played for so long that I didn’t get to enjoy the game the way they did. I even tried to quit once after my first season, but my dad wouldn’t let me until I caught up to my friends and really experienced the game for what it is. His decision changed my life. I worked my tail off for those first few years to catch up but before long everything clicked. Soon enough, I did much more than just catch up to them
